Job Description & Duties:
During 2004-2005, I worked as a graphic designer for Benson Media, (now Benson Integrated Marketing Solutions). Benson focused in marketing solutions for the multifamily industry and did all design and printing in-house. Our customers were large apartment management companies. We created and maintained their brands and handled all their apartment complexes’ printing needs. Our designers would create the visual brand and design collateral for the corporate office. Some campaigns had two versions, one for upscale properties and one for economy properties. Then we took orders from individual apartments across the country. My duties included creating and maintaining branding standards, production design work, original designs, logo reproduction, drawing floor plans and maps, maintaining market maps, and preparing my jobs for printing and burning plates. On occasion, we did work not focused in the multifamily industry, so sometimes I also designed political direct mailers.
